Brad Fuhr first passed through the Coachella Valley on his cross-country move to Los Angeles from rural Michigan in 1980.
As a writer for Chicago’s Windy City Times, Brad came to a summer Fam trip to see and write about the “gay” side of Palm Springs. He toured every clothing-optional resort in Palm Springs and even got a guided tour of CCBC by the mayor of Cathedral City.
He was drawn back to the desert in 2008.
Brad trained and consulted the teams at Palm Springs Life and San Diego Magazine on their digital media and sales strategy. It was that experience that gave him the light-bulb moment for his LGBT-centric business venture that now includes the Oasis Marketing Group and GayDesertGuide.com.
He purchased KGAY 106.5 Radio in August 2021.
